The library has recently received a notification from the ABI/INFORM electronic database vendor regarding "excessive downloading" by our school's users. This situation constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights. If it does not improve, the vendor may suspend access for the entire school, which would severely impact the rights of all faculty and students.
The library would like to remind you:
1. Please do not download full-text files from the database continuously or in large quantities. The use of any software to systematically or massively download or print is strictly prohibited. Even if a group of people manually downloads a large number of files simultaneously, it may still raise concerns about intellectual property rights violations!
2. Please use all electronic resources (journals, articles, databases, e-books, patents, technical reports, videos, music, etc.) reasonably. Always be mindful of internet information security, and remember to change your passwords regularly!
