Our staff are dedicated to making books ordered for the Library available as soon as possible. A number of factors, however, may influence the time it takes to get a book to the Library stack. In some cases, when a book is temporarily unavailable or out of print, it may be difficult to figure out its estimated time of arrival. In general, books on a domestic order are approximately delivered within 1 month. It may take 1-3 months, on the other hand, for west-language books to arrive due to overseas shipping.

From the main menu bar, click "Purchase Request" under the "Services" heading and then login to our Recommendation System with your NCHU single-sign-on username & password. Once you have completed your request form and click "submit," your application will be automatically sent to the Library for review. To enable the Library to evaluate the suitability of the donations, please complete the Book Donation Form with an accompanying title list, and then submit via email (chiacq@nchu.edu.tw) to the Library. We primarily purchase resources to support research, teaching and learning at the University and offer general interest and leisure materials in our collection as well. Purchasing decisions are guided by the NCHU Library Collection Development Policy. For campus space outside the library is managed by the school, we always notice the school not to hold lively or noisy activities around library in order to maintain the reading quality. To start with, please navigate to the Library website. Once we receive your request for rush processing, we will get your requested items ready for checkout ASAP and place them on hold for you as well. When the room temperature is below 28°C, the air-conditioning will perform "supply air" and keep proportional outside air to exchange for IAQ rules. That's the reason why you feel cold indoor.

1. Except the study room in the basement and the multimedia center on the third floor, the visitors at or over the age of 18 can exchange for a temporary visitor card with his/her ID card, driver's license, to enter the library.
2. If the school temporarily prohibits people from entering the school or the library, please follow the rules.

回覆單位:典閱組Please contact the instructor who created assignments for you to check the Turnitin assignment settings options. The ‘store paper in repository’ option should be switched off, so that it does not show any match no matter how many times you submit it.
And a request will be sent to the Turnitin administrator from your instructor. Turnitin administrator will then review the request and approve it if they agree the paper should be deleted.

1. Except for the research rooms, each study room is set a departure time. If you leave for 15 minutes exceeding the departure time, the system will automatically release the room. Leaving directly will also be logged out.
2. The system will release the room 15 minutes after withdrawal of your student ID card. After leaving, you are not able to access the room by tapping the card even though it is within the reservation time.
In the discussion room or study consulting room, the registration can be completed and the door can be unlocked only after the 3 people who have booked tap their cards in order.
回覆單位:典閱組In order to make it easier for readers not to commute from home to library for returning books during winter/summer vacation, the library has extended the loan period. The start and end dates of the loan period differ between ordinary books and reserved books. Readers are not required to return both types of books to the library during the holidays.
回覆單位:典閱組1. How to request: Readers are able to search for the checked-out books at "Collection Catalog" and make a request online. We'll inform you to pick up the books once the item is returned to the library. The materials will be kept at the library for 5 days and will be put on the shelves, or the next reader who has reserved the materials will be notified of borrowing from the sixth day.
2. Cancel a request: To cancel the request, log in your library account. Next, cancel by clicking the ""Delete"" button. This function is batch processing, so it will not be cancelled immediately from time to time. Please wait for the next day after 12:00 P.M. and log in again to see whether the book has been cancelled, if not, please contact the library to cancel the book reservation.
3. The library will notify the readers via E-mail upon the arrival of reserved books. The books will be kept for five days and will be put on the shelves, or the next reader who has reserved the item will be notified to come from the sixth day.
You can return books by the book return box located at the east door of the library (near the ATM of the post office) without entering the library. The return date will be one service day before you return. If the books are placed into the box before the due date, it will not be considered overdue.

PNAS supports Open Access policy, as long as it is submitted by corresponding author of the subscribed institution. Once the journal is published and authorized to open access (Open Access), whom may receives a discounted price for article processing. For more details, please refer to the PNAS official website.
2. The library has introduced the "IEEE Database Open Access (OA) Submission System" for our school staff and students, which provide 20% discount on the article processing fee if your manuscripts are published. When applying for a discount, you need to fill in the school's ID 34916 to pass the certification.
