Overview:
To support students in thesis writing, the National Central Library (NCL) has collaborated with the National Taiwan Normal University team to develop the "WriteAid Similarity Scanner System." This system offers a tool for students to assess the similarity of their thesis content.

The system compares thesis content against electronic theses collected by the NCL’s "National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations in Taiwan," which includes both published and unpublished theses in Chinese and foreign languages. Note that charts and graphs are not included in the comparison scope. This system offers a different scope of comparison compared to Turnitin Feedback Studio. Using both systems can help students more comprehensively detect thesis similarity.
